How solid ink printing worksMimics simple,
robust offset printing

• Molten ink is jetted onto oiled drum forming
  entire image
• Ink solidifies on drum, but held at intermediate
  temperature (where ink is malleable)
• Ink is transferred to pre-heated paper under
  pressure
• Paper exits printer where ink instantly hardens
