Rosa parks had a museum of her and what she did
and all about her childhood and stuff like that
on the spot that she was arrested on. They made
that museum a little more than 40 yrs. After she
was arrested.

SHE WAS ELECTED BECAUSE SHE COULD TYPE - IN 1955, ROSA ATTENED HIGHLANDER FOLK SCHOOL AND
LEARNED WAYS TO TRY TO END SEGREGATION - IN 1963, ROSA ATTENED THE LARGEST CIVIL RIGHT
MEETING EVER HELD IN WASHINGTON, D.C

NAACP - IN 1965, SHE WORKED FOR DETROIT CONGRESSMAN JOHN
CONYERS AS HIS OFFICE MANAGER - DURING THE 1970S AND 80S SHE GAVE SPEECHES
ABOUT CIVIL RIGHTS,TRAVELING OFTON - IN 1979, ROSA WON THE SPINGARN MEDAL, THE NAACPS
HIGHEST HONOR - IN 1987, THE ROGER JOSEPH PRIZE WAS GIVEN TO HER
