What does the CEED program do?

• CEED creates projects where students work with
  enterprises to achieve defined commercial or
  operational objectives

How do CEED Projects Help Students?

• Get a head start on your career!
• You get a chance to get your project planned and
  started early.
• Your academic project is conducted in a
  professional environment, and you make contacts
  for future employment.
• Your project will make a meaningful contribution
  to the client.
• CEED students receive a tax-free studentship of
  7,200 (for honours/final year projects).
• Full CEED projects completely satisfy engineering
  practicum requirements.

CEED Project Schedule

• Final Year / Honours Level
• Project advertisements and applications Sep-Oct
• Main project allocation around Oct-Nov
• The Project Brief is developed during the weeks
  following project allocation to set the project
  direction
• CEED student sundertake 8 weeks full-time work on
  project at client site
• This intensive activity help maximise progress
• Work continues as usual during Final / Honours
  year
• Postgraduates can start at any time.
