Enterprise Risk Management Training
A Road Map to Enterprise Risk Management
2
Alexander Forbes Risk Services (AFRS) have been
involved in the delivery of various enterprise
risk management (ERM) programmes for a number of
years. Integral to the development of ERM
cultures amongst our clients, has been the
development of selected individuals within our
public and private sector client base through the
provision of formal outcomes based training
programmes interlinked with practicals/case
studies.
Alexander Forbes recognised the need for
integrated risk management training over five
years ago. As a result of this identified need,
we approached the development of various
OUTCOMES-BASED training programmes built on a
number of modular training programs. The latest
of these Modules is an IRMSA endorsed basic three
day course based on the IRMSA Code of Practice,
including elements of the Australian/ New Zealand
Standards for ERM, the COSO Standards, the King

Previous participants testimonies Its a good
course. Value adding. Excellent process and an
eye opener. Very beneficial. Thank you Very
good, thank you. This will definitely add value
to the company should ideas be applied. Very
worthwhile, not a moment too soon. Theory is
made real by the practical exercise. We feel
part of the training. Good communication, good
examples and very valuable information. A sound
basic knowledge of the risk management process
has been instilled. Examples used were very
informative and assisted in making the subject
matter more understandable.
