    Sciences student in another college
  • You can make the switch to CBS by simply signing
a sheet with your section advisor or at the
    Deans Office.

Major, make an appointment to talk to one of our
    advisors.

Prestige and Employment
  • Transcripts will show your major and your
    college.
  • Whether or not you put your college on your
resume is a personal choice. Most people do not
    include this information.
  • Employers look at your major and University, not
    your college.

17
So why change..?
18
Reasons for Transferring
  • Personal
  • The name of the college that you want to be on
your diploma is a personal choice.
  • Financial
  • Some students have scholarship money attached to
being in CAES. If you are such a student, check
with your Ag advisor before changing.

19
Reasons for Transferring
  • Dont have to wait to take upper division
    English.
  • You can get a degree in the Biological Sciences
from the College of Biological Sciences
  • All Biological Sciences students entering the
University henceforth will be in the College.

20
Reasons for Transferring
  • Honors
  • CBS doesnt require a thesis for High and Highest
    Honors, unlike LS.
  • Be a part of the inaugural CBS class to graduate
    from UC Davis!!!
