• RA graduates can apply to master programs in the
  Netherlands and abroad
• Special relation with Utrecht University
• formal obligation to accept RA graduates

Master Programs at Utrecht University

• More than 80 international master programs in all
  academic fields
• Low tuition fee (1600) applies to RA Class of
  2007 and 2008
• Tuition fee may change after 2008
• Currently, only 160 international students are
  enrolled into these 80 programs ? RA students are
  thus more than welcome

• Same tuition fee rules apply
• Most of these programs (international Dutch)
  are open to RA graduates ? dependent on their
  undergraduate program

• Additional admission requirements (for
  Medicine/SUMMA)
• Additional ECTS requirements (for Psychology or
  certain Law programs)
• UU also offers 14 PRESTIGE MASTERS for which a
  3.5 (or in some cases 3.0) GPA is required

Procedure for Masters in the Netherlands

• Student makes his/her choice
• Student contacts tutor ? tutor refers him/her to
  specific faculty member RA
• Teacher/tutor informs Dean of students
  preference
• Options Dean arranges meeting with Director of
  specific graduate program OR makes necessary
  arrangements himself
• Student portfolio
• Letters of recommendation by Dean and/or teacher
