Graduate Programs Disclaimer In reality, there
are not concrete criteria or cut-offs for
admissions. Admissions range from being very
competitive in elite Ph.D. programs to being
non-competitive in lesser Masters programs.
Information in cells are estimates of averages
for students being admitted, but obviously there
is variability around this norm. Also, strengths
in one area can compensate (within limits) for
weaknesses in other areas.
Necessary for clinical, counseling, and social
work programs. Not necessary for academic-career
programs. Necessary for clinical and

for non-Ph.D. counseling/social-work programs.
