Online Discussion Guidelines

• Encourage a heightened level of interaction and
  participation
• Related to course objectives
• Are open-ended, require more than a yes or no
  answer
• Encourage discussion, rather than seeking one
  right answer
• Demonstrate learners understanding of concept
• Elicit further dialogue

• AP German between 2 of our High Schools
• AP Latin between all 3 of our High Schools
• Teachers have adapted their teaching strategies
• Engage students
• Use WCCLIPS to compliment the course
• Online resources for students
• Assignments are posted online
• Quizzes are completed and graded on line

Our Goal

• As teachers we must strive to increase the active
  learning of our students.
• Student engagement will increase because of
  technology allows the learning to go beyond the
  walls of the classroom.
