- Go to the Savings Plan page, enter the Employee
ID, and click the Search button

- To enroll employee in 401(k), enter plan type of
40, and enter the hire date for the Coverage

- Click the lookup icon for Benefit Plan, and the
following list appears
- If the employee is 50 or older or will turn 50
this year, select GS401. Otherwise, select
GS401K.
