Volunteer Opportunities

• Work with our Mission Support crew!
• Help keep station crew alive by troubleshooting
  problems
• Keep crew informed and entertained with news and
  jokes
• Help with local outreach efforts at area schools
• Reduce data and post reports in support of
  research

Amateur Radio Architecture

• This project demonstrates radio architectures for
  use on Mars
• Includes voice communications as well as data
  from instruments including GPS and radiation
  detectors
• Needs volunteers to regress APRS data and map EVAs

Robotic Astronaut Assistant

• Demonstrate integration of a robot into the radio
  architecture, including remote sensing and
  control
• Needs volunteers to
• Troubleshoot radio systems in Atlanta and Utah
• Provide technical and teaching assistance at
  Lovett

General Mission Support Duties

• Mission support meets at night, 9 to midnight-ish
• Post daily reports and pictures from crew on
  website
• Write news and weather reports with a side of
  jokes
• Help us with any emergencies and last minute
  information
• Save goofy webcam pictures for posterity
