Who Wants to be a Global Citizen
36
To qualify to play the game, the host begins
with the fastest finger question. The
person(s) to answer the question in the shortest
amount of time qualifies to go to the core set of
questions. The contestant works through a
series of 15 multiple-choice questions starting
at 100 and roughly doubling until the final
1,000,000 question. Questions become more
difficult the farther one progresses.
Contestants have access to three "lifelines" to
help them when they are not sure of the answer.
They can poll the audience for an answer, phone a
friend for advice, or use the "50-50" option in
which two incorrect answers are eliminated. Each
lifeline can be used only once.
