Title: The Balat Project
1The Balat Project
- Architectural Photogrammetric Application
2The Aim Of The Project
- Obtain 3D Information for the Architectural
Restoration. - Obtain 3D Cad model for animation or
visualisation for the real issue of this
historical site.
3The Procedure of The Work
- Data Acquisition
- Geodetic Network
- Measuring The Control Points
- Taking Images From The Facades With The
Photogrammetric Cameras
- Photogrammetric Restitution
- Digital Photogrammetric Methods
- Analytic Stereo Restitution
4Data Acquisition
- Geodetic Network Design
- Polygonation for the Facades.
- Geodetic measurements for Control Points signaled
on the Facades. - The instrument of this work was Pentax ATS-102
with 2 miligon angular precision. - The network adjustment had been made with 2.5 cm
accuracy for each direction of all control points
on the facades. - Photogrammetric data capture had been done with
three cameras - Rollei(with 50mm and fish eye focuses), UMK
(with 100mm focus length), P31(with 45mm focus
length) of which the inner orientation parameters
were well known.
5Data Acquisition
6Photogrammetric Restitution
- Digital and Analytical Photogrammetric
Application - Digital Restitution was done with photogrammetric
software Pictran D-B. - Bundle Block Adjustment was done with Pictran B
with less than 0.5cm accuracy in the object
scale. - The model had been measured with Pictran D on the
same projection plane which determinated also
less than 0.5 cm accuracy. - The Analytic Stereo Plotter KERN DSR-11 was used
for determining the 3D properties of the
important details of the facades, for example
the distance of the balcony from the main facade
and the depth of the frame of the windows.
