• Currently focussing on images only
• Give overview of relevant tools and vocabularies

• organized around use cases and example solutions

• Show how non-RDF metadata approaches can be made
  interoperable with RDF/OWL approaches and vice
  versa
• organized around relevant standards
• MPEG-7, IPTC, EXIF, XMP, VRA, ...

• Looking for contributors for future work

Future Work

• Depends on this meeting!
• SWBPD WG charter ends in February 2006
• Future of WG and MM TF is uncertain
• Need to have a longer term plan to address AV
  annotation
• W3C will only support this as a bottom up
  process
• We need to build a SemWeb MM community
• With academic and industrial members
