PUTTING THE FUN IN FUNDRAISING!!!
 
www.firstgiving.org   Type in the
web-address and Go.   Click on the big orange
button that appears that says, Start
Fundraising. This will take you to another
web-page which explains how their web-pages
work.   Click on the big orange button that says,
Create your page.   Then you can select from
the four options listed. (Birthdays,
anniversaries, and/or retirement celebrations
fall under the personal occasion.) Click
Select.   Then you have the opportunity to
select from a drop-down menu of options regarding
what occasion you are celebrating and how long
you would want to accept donations. Click the
orange button.   You should now be at the page
that asks you to find a non-profit
organization.   Type in Pennsylvania Breast
Cancer Coalition in the organization field,
breast cancer in the keyword field, and Ephrata
in the city field. Select PA from the drop-down
menu and click Search. The next page should
list the Pennsylvania Breast Cancer Coalition.
  You can then click Select and begin the
process.   It will ask you for your e-mail
address and additional information, and you can
continue clicking through it to set up your page.
You will have the option to upload a photo,
which is a nice way to personalize your
fundraising page. The web-page has a way to list
the donors, their donation amount and a message,
too!
