Objective and Goal

• To electronically control the rpm of an internal
  combustion engine.
• To maintain this speed to between 1300 and 1700
  rpm.

• Advantage of electronic governing over mechanical
  governing.
• Possible Applications

Configuration of System

• The system comprises of 4 components
• A mechanical system which is the engine itself.
• A sensor component which consists of a digital
  optical encoder.
• A software component which consists of the
  software program written in Interactive C loaded
  the Handy Board.
• An actuator which consists of a motor and the
  rack and pinion.
