• Our survey shows a moderate positive correlation
  between GPA and good handwriting (r 0.4073).
• GPA accounts for 17 of the variance in clarity
  of handwriting (R2 0.1659).
• Line of Best Fit (y 0.7479x 0.7876)
• Slope For every 1.0 increase in GPA, the quality
  of hand-writing increased by 0.75 on our rating
  scale.
• Examples
• If a student had a 3.75 GPA, we would predict
  they would earn a 3.6 rating for quality of
  writing (5 being best).
• If a student earned a rating of 3 for quality
  of writing (5 being best), we would predict they
  would have a 2.95 GPA.
