What Is a Judy Center?
  • Judy Centers provide children birth through age
    five and their families with access to an array
    of comprehensive, integrated, full-day, and
    full-year early care and education services.
  • Through collaborative partnerships among local
    agencies and community organizations including
    a strong relationship with Head Start, and
    neighborhood center based and family child care
    providers Judy Centers promote school
    readiness by enhancing language and early
    literacy, as well as cognitive, social and
    emotional, and physical development.

What do we do?
  • Judy Centers involve partnerships with Family
    Support Centers, local Health Departments, Adult
    Education Services, and many other family
    oriented programs to provide family support,
    physical and mental health services, and family
    and community engagement. Judy Centers are
    located in or linked programmatically with Title
    I schools.

    qualified teachers, challenging curriculum, high
    standards and expectations for students.

    in learning both in school and in community
    settings, before, during and after school
