Title Authors names
You can use this textbox to add your text The
title is bold and centralized, and the text is
normal and justified. Depending on how much text
you have, you may make this font size larger
(smaller would not be advisable).
The pink lines The pink lines represent the
margins for impression. They will be erased at
the printing shop, just before printing, so they
will not show up in the poster. They are here
only to assure that you do not write past the
minimum margin setting for printing!
Copy and paste the textbox You can simply click
on this textbox and copy it, then past it and
drag it to another place in your poster to add
another section of your text. In this way, the
formats would always be kept the same.
To see the entire poster On the zoom, go to
Fit and then you will be able to see the entire
poster, to check for structure, organization, and
readability.
The yellow lines The yellow lines function to
create columns. You can re-organize your text in
the poster by playing around with the yellow
lines. You can delete one line, and drag the
remaining line to the center of the poster, to
divide the work space in two columns only. Or you
can copy and paste a yellow line and re-arrange
them to create another column. You can also have
different numbers of columns in each row.
Zoom In Put the zoom to 50 to see your text in
larger scale, so it is easier for you to work
with each individual section.
Remember to check your textboxes Click on the
textbox and make sure that it is aligned to the
lines (pink, yellow, or green), so all the
textboxes are equally placed in relation to these
lines. This will ensure that your text in each
section starts at the same level on the rows and
on the columns.
Sections Usually, you will have the following
sections on your poster Purpose of study
Brief outline of theoretical framework Brief
outline of methodological framework Specifics
about the data Sample analysis, including
pictures Results and Conclusion (or Discussion
and Implications).
Usually, you DONT Have references listed on
your poster Add citations to your poster Write
more than 2 paragraphs per section Use font size
smaller than this one, unless it is for captions
of figures Use color figures when possible.
