Brodmann Vectors and distance matrix
Brodmann Vector
Brodmann Areas
- Each component of this vector corresponds to one
of the different Brodmann areas. - The value in each component represents the
percentage of the respective Brodmann area
covered by the active voxels.
Activated areas in the brain
- We compute the Brodmann vector for each
experiment - We compute the similarity between pairs of
Brodmann vectors - COS of the angle between the two vectors
- Euclidean distance between the two vectors viewed
as points in the 47-dim space
Image of the distance matrix between every pair
of experiments.
A Visualization Tool for fMRI Data Mining
Front end for data mining engine
- Data Operations Panel
- Analysis results viewed as
- clusters
- Clusters mapped to
- rows/cols of similarity table
- Similarity table shows
- similarity scores
Comparison Tool
Find experiments similar to this one
How, Why are these similar ?
- Visual comparison of the results of different
analysis methods - See how different analysis methods compare
- (w.r.t. results)
- Allows developers to compare the results of
their method with - other available methods
- Visualization Panel
- Shows pairs of clusters
