THE USE OF TIME

• It is one of those wonderfully, blindingly
  obvious initiatives. Why should students always,
  relentlessly have to turn subjects on and off at
  60 minute intervals?

• Business Studies Applied GCSE
• ONE YEAR COURSE 95.6 A- C
• Double Award
• 1 hour lessons / flexible days / fast track 6 day
  event and a 3 day event before the examination.
• CADBURYS, SAINSBURYS, FINANCIAL DIRECTOR,
  RECRUITMENT CONSULTANT, HR CONSULTANT, P.G.C.E.
  BUSINESS STUDENTS FROM UNIVERSITY COLLEGE
  WORCESTER, TEAM-TEACHING, LARGE LEARNING
  SPACES,SUPPORT STAFF.
• Gained time in Year 11 AS levels, new courses,
  re-sits, course swaps, community work, coursework
  in other subjects.

YEARS 7,8 and 9

• KS3 students also benefit from the deep learning
  block approach. Similar assessment processes.
• Lower school students experience 1,2,3, and 5 day
  blocks.
• EXAMPLE -Year 8 MFL 5 day experience
  Pantomime based on a folk tale in target
  language. Collaborative Scripting, casting,
  props, rehearsal, performance in junior schools.
• AFL, peer assessment, groupwork analysis,
  performance evaluation ( video ), audience
  evaluation ( live ), summative assessment -drama
  dept. and MFL.
