EINSTEIN

• Albert Einstein was born in Germany in 1879. He
  went to school in Zurich and became a citizen and
  a teacher in Math and Physics. He worked as a
  technical assistant at the Patent Office in
  Switzerland where he did most of his work. He
  went on to be offered the presidency of the state
  of Israel. He came to the United States and
  continued his work and eventually was awarded the
  Nobel Prize. In 1855 he died.

JAMES DEAN

• James Dean was born in Indiana in 1931. He grew
  up as many mid-western children do and had a
  great love for art and acting. In 1955 he acted
  in probably his most famous movie, Rebel Without
  a Cause. He had a brief movie career and was
  killed in a car accident later that year.

DAVY CROCKETT

• A frontiersman who became a role model for young
  children due to his appearance in a movie titled
  Davy Crockett and a television show similarly
  named. He was sent by President Andrew Jackson to
  the Alamo were he was killed along with Mr. Bowie
  (Possible inventor of the Bowie knife maybe)
  when they ran out of ammunition.

PETER PAN

• Peter Pan is a young boy who never wants to grow
  up. His mischievous sidekick Tinker bell
  accompanies him wherever he ventures. He visits
  the nursery of Wendy, Michael and John and they
  go on a wild adventure. It was originally
  released in 1955 and remains a classic today.

ELVIS PRESLEY

• Elvis Presley was a famous rock and roll singer
  and he also played the guitar. In 1953 the truck
  driver from Tupelo, Mississippi pulled into Sun
  Records and recorded two songs for his mothers
  birthday. Two years later he had recorded 5 songs
  and was growing a following. In 70-something he
  died as one of the most successful and innovative
  musicians of the era.

DISNEY LAND

• In 1955 this magnificent structure that had been
  a dream for Walt Disney became a reality. It was
  a park depicting scenes from many of Disneys
  movies and with rides for the entire family.
  Originally built in Los Angeles, this park has
  been copied and put up all over the globe.
