The Executive Branch is responsible for carrying

- Makes the laws
- Called Congress in United States
- Two houses The Senate and the House of
Representatives - Called General Assembly in Maryland
5JUDICIAL BRANCH
- Inteprets the laws and rules on the
constitutionality of laws - Highest court is the Supreme Court of the U.S.
includes lower federal courts - Maryland State courts for MD laws and state
issues - Baltimore County courts for county laws and
disputes
