Top Tips for Teachers

• Organise users into ABC and regulate who controls
  the laptop
• Helpers to talk to partner or point to screen
  not allowed to touch the laptop when it is not
  their turn
• Label the laptops and always use the same laptop
  for saving work
• Create a save as rule consistent file naming
  rather than always their name e.g. diary ad
  (document name then initials)
• Show the children how to press the space bar
  when/if the screen saver comes on
• Close the lids when you need to get childrens
  attention show the children how to restart the
  laptops from this mode (sometimes by pressing the
  space bar)
• Choose two monitors to be in charge of
  distributing and/or charging the laptops
