30Data Classification Steps
- Collect and shuffle all data pages from a
target. - Sequentially ask of each response What
category name does this fit? Write the name
on a guidecard to create the category . . file
alphabetically with data page behind the
guidecard. - Go through entire data pages, creating new
categories or adding pages to matching ones you
have created. - Next ask Which categories can be combined into
a smaller number of super-categories? Do it,
keeping pages assigned to their categories. - Prioritize super-categories to be report/manual
section - titles convert ideas recommendations
to narrative edit and smooth for the final
product.
