What is a Mentorship Programme?

• Mentorship is a relationship built between two
  people
• Mentor (more knowledgeable and experienced)
• Mentee (less experienced)
• Mentorship is process of sharing

How QCOBA Mentorship Programme Works?

• Mentees F.6 and F.7 students form groups of 2 to
  4 by themselves
• Each mentee group will be paired up with 2
  mentors
• 1 senior mentor (80s or before for HKCEE)
• 1 junior mentor (90s or after for HKCEE)

Role of a Mentor

• To share experience, insight, successful
  (unsuccessful) life stories with mentees
• Senior mentors To advise on career planning and
  personal development
• Junior mentors To advise on academic choice and
  university life

• To listen and learn from the mentors
• To seek guidance and advice from mentors
• To share your own thinkings and stories
• To make your own decisions
• To respect the mentors

• Have outings, e.g. BBQ, cycling, cruise tour,
  fishing, etc
• Play ball games
• Visit mentors at their offices
• Join QCOBA activities
• Invite mentors to join QC activities
• Communicate through phone calls, emails, SMS
  and/or MSN
• Make up your groups own creative activities!
