verbal or physical conduct of a sexual nature.

- Contact Equal Opportunity Services (EOS) at
512-471-1849 if you believe you have been
subjected to sexual harassment or sexual
misconduct. - Equal Opportunity Services provides consultative
and investigative services regarding allegations
of sexual harassment or sexual misconduct.

You can also report concerns to an external
agency.
- Contact the Texas Workforce Commission, Civil
Rights Division, a state agency. - Contact the Equal Employment Opportunity
Commission (EEOC), a federal agency.

- Defined as
- A mutually acceptable, romantic and/or
sexual relationship - Relationship is between a University
- employee with direct supervisory, teaching,
evaluative or advisory responsibility over an
employee, student and/or student employee.
13Consensual Relationships
- Create conflicts of interest and/or appearances
of impropriety that impair the integrity of
academic and employment decisions. - Are strongly discouraged by The University.
- Should such a relationship develop, the teacher,
supervisor or advisor has the obligation to
disclose the relationship so that alternative
arrangements for the supervision, evaluation,
teaching, grading or advising of the employee,
student and/or student employee may be made.
