10Ektron in Action PRIMR
Purpose of their website "It provides
information about PRIMR (mission/values, board
of directors, etc.)" "It provides
conference/meeting information and online
registration." "It serves as an information
clearinghouse for our industry (by housing
updated regulations, application deadlines,
standard operating procedures, and more)."
"It offers members access to exclusive
benefits, like members-only webpages, access to
discussion boards, and a searchable membership
directory. It also highlights these features
visually so non-members can see what they are
missing!"
11Ektron in Action PRIMR
- "More specifically, for the first time, we have
been able to use our new website to..." -
- "Register the approximately 300 speakers for our
upcoming conference. This will save us such a
huge amount of time, and it is what the speakers
have been asking for (no more paper forms!) - "Optimize our e-newsletter. Since the site is so
easy to update, and access to certain pages and
resources can be restricted to members, now
information that used to be included in our
e-mail newsletter goes on the site on a monthly
basis. This has shortened our newsletters
tremendously, and pushes people towards the
website, rather than keeping them in their
inbox." -
- "As you can see, we have a lot going on and try
to accomplish a lot in one not-so-big website,
and I really feel like Ektron allows us to do
that cleanly and easily.
12Ektron in Action PRIMR
- "I just want to reiterate how much I appreciate
how easy it is to update our website, and to have
it look (almost) exactly as I want it to. Based
on my background (zero technical training no
serious interest in learning how to code, though
I know a small bit of HTML), I really should not
be able to manage a website successfully (in
terms of making updates, adding new features,
etc.). Ektron and VanDamme Associates allow me
to do that. I have a ton of flexibility with my
Ektron editor and, when I find a roadblock that
may limit what I can do, I call VanDamme and they
figure out how they can work with me to give us
what we need." -

- We love the absolute ease of use for the
non-technical staff. Everyone has their own login
and can be responsible for their own portion of
the site. Payal also remarked that NTEA loves
how well organized the site is and that it is
organized in such a way that serves all of their
target users that are coming to their site. Prior
to the new site, a major challenge was finding
information easily. The sites information is now
organized into the proper buckets and actually
serves three separate audiences Association,
Industry and Work Truck Show. - -Payal Jain, the Database and Website Manager for
