What can you do with Weboodi? oodi.tkk.fi/w
Without logging in anyone can

• Browse the study guide(in finnish, swedish and
  english)
• Times of teaching and exams

After logging in a student at HUT can

• Register to courses, exams, excercise groups e.g.
• Order handouts (cooperation with Multiprint),
• View completed studies and order an unofficial
  transcript of studies to email
• View and update personal information and their
  release information.View and update your personal
  information and their release information into
  the student register.
• Applications for personal study plan (OodiHops)
  and course feedback (PalauteOodi) are introduced
  during autumn.

Logging in to Weboodi

• Two alternative ways
• 1)
• 2)
• Problems with logging in?
• Students are recommended to use WebLogin
• The user-id and password of the other way cannot
  be used in the other way of logging in.
• Only students with study rights to HUT and are
  registered as attenting or non-attenting can log
  in to WebOodi.
• Students registered as attending for the whole
  semester are able to login between 1st of August
  and 31st of July. Those attending only the spring
  period between 1st of January and 31st of July
• The study right ends when a student graduates and
  logging in to WebOodi is no longer possible.

(From this link a student can order a password
for Oodi. It is sent to users email account, but
if Oodi doesnt know students email address, the
password is not sent.)

What can you do with Noppa noppa.tkk.fi

• Noppa is a portal for course webpages designed
  for the needs of HUT
• The two roles of Noppa
• Course webpages
• Can be browsed anywhere in the world and are
  mainly public
• Replaces old course pages
• A personized frontpage with e.g. course news and
  upcoming important events
• User needs to log in and a valid user-id at HUT
  is needed (Weblogin)

Course webpages in Noppa

• Every course has the same basic pages where
  information can be found in identical places.
  Additional pages can be also found in different
  courses.
• Noppa can be used in three languages but the
  course page is always shown in one language
  finnish, swedish or english.
• The course pages for this and last year can be
  found (older pages are not be found in Noppa)
• To search for courses use the search function or
  a direct address https//noppa.tkk.fi/noppa/kurss
  it/COURSECODE

• Your own frontpage or course page in Noppa
• Subscribing to send copies of published news to
  your email. (can be done in Own settings)
• Subscribing to course news RSS feed (can be done
  from News page)
