Module Enhancements

• Use a Boom box to demonstrate amplified bass
  (low frequencies) and treble (high frequencies).
• Introduce the math concepts of amplitude and its
  calculations.
• Use the example of the Chicago sound detectors to
  explore the use of acoustics and triangulation.

Scientific Inquiry

• Have students make a bridge-like string
  instrument and explore how changing variables in
  the design affects the sound produced.
