2 2 Seamless Process

The Articulated Program
  • Based on an AAS in business or accounting
    Northwest will accept
  • designated freshman and sophomore business and/or
    accounting credit hours
  • general education credits required for an AAS
    degree
  • any freshman and sophomore general education
    hours required by Northwest beyond the AAS
    degree

  • Northwest applies these credit hours to the
    Bachelor of Science in Business Management or
    Bachelor of Science in Accounting degrees
  • Some courses come in at the junior or senior
    level

    accepted by Northwest from the partnering

The Articulation Process

    return to the community colleges in order to take
    more general education courses and then to
    transfer to Northwest to complete their BS

  • Part One
  • Consists of 60-64 credit hours as they exist in
    the respective community college catalog
  • Part Two
  • Determines remaining general education
    requirements needed to complete the baccalaureate
    degree
  • known as bridge courses because they can be taken
    at either institution
  • Part Three
  • Remaining 40 credit hours are taken through
    Northwest Online
