Decide what username and password you want to use
Your handle is your nickname. It can be the same
as your username or different.

What title do you want for your weblog? The URL
should be similar but with no spaces. Dont
forget to type in the letters you see (to stop
robots).

If the address is already taken, dont panic.
Just choose one of the alternatives.

your weblog will be created. (You will also be
given a chance to choose a design for your
weblog.) But no-one will be able to visit an
empty weblog, so lets write a very short
post. Before doing so, make sure you have written
down your Blogger username and password.

• Your username
• Your password

You also should write down the URL of your
weblog. This is the answer to the question
Where can I read your weblog? It is important
to get it exactly right, otherwise people wont
be able to find it.

Your weblog is your own. Choose the design you
like, and in general write about a topic that
interests you make your weblog unique and an
expression of yourself. Because we are using
Blogger, your weblog does not depend on me. You
can use it after the course has finished,
switching to Japanese if you wish. For the
purposes of the course, you need to be using the
weblog with confidence after the 2nd class, so
you should practice blogging as often as possible
in the first week, and bring any questions or
problems to the 2nd class.

A semester is short a semester is long
If you skip a week or two here and there, the
semester will end without much progress. Be
conscious of time passing!
On the other hand, if you have technical problems
for a few days, dont worry read, and then try
again another day.
