3BIOGRAFIA
- Fernando Botero es de Medellin, Colombia.
- He was born in 1932.
- He started to work as an illustrator in 1948.
- In 1950 He traveled to Spain, Europe to study
art at the Academy of San Fernando in Madrid.
4His studies and awards
- After Spain, he went to Italy and France to study
art history. He studied the technique of fresco
painting and reproduced works of different
European artist. - In 1965 he moved to New York and won the
Gugggenheim National Prize for Colombia. - In 1970 his son Pedro was born, but four years
later he died in a car accident. - In 1973 he went to Paris and designed his first
sculpture. - Botero Lives and works in New York and Paris.

6ArnolfiniThe Arnolfini Portrait is a painting in
oils on oak panel executed by the Early
Netherlandish painter Jan van Eyck in 1434. Among
other titles, it is also known as "The Arnolfini
Wedding", "The Arnolfini Marriage", "The
Arnolfini Double Portrait" or the "Portrait of
Giovanni Arnolfini and his Wife".

very familiar so as to be understood by

religiously bound to my reality, in order to be
universal.
