• May. 2002 Discussed INIS DB mirror site and host
• site in the 30th liaison
  officers meeting.
• May. 2002 INIS Secretariat provided data and
• code for Korea and invited
  experts for
• education on system
  installation.
• Aug. 2002 Established the INIS DB and participa-
• ted in education program for
  operating
• system (IT Experts)
• Aug.Sept. 2002 Analyzed strong and weak points,
  
• comparing mirror site with
  hosting site
• and decided to build the
  hosting site.

• Oct.Nov. 2002 Purchased and established the
• hardware and software for
  server
• Dec. 2002 Registered the domain name
  (www.inis2.com)
• Jan. 2003 Completed the population work of the
• entire data (2,347,302 cases
  of data were
• fresh-created by the end of
  2002)
• Feb. 2003 Started the works to renew the
  homepage
• screens and to input the
  updated data
• Mar. 2003 Launched the same test operating
  system
• for service to that of the
  INIS
• headquarters (HQs)
• Apr. 2003 Providing the trial service for

• Accessible by Nationality, Users, IP address and

• Downloading the statistics using Excel-file
  program

5. Data-updating Process

• Method
• When new data are inputted, INIS Hqs send
  e-mail to us.
• After connecting with the INIS Hqs Server, we
  acquire the updated data using the ftp program.

• Currently, the Vol 34 (2003) data is under
  updating
