18GENERAL SCHOLARSHIP REQUIREMENTS
- Be a United States Citizen.
- AGE
- 17 by October 1 of year to begin college
- Not reach 31st birthday by December 31 of
graduation year - Prior active duty military service may be
eligible for an extension of this age requirement - High school graduate or equivalent.
- Receive at least a minimum SAT score of 920 or an
ACT composite score of 19 (High School 4 Year
Scholarship only). - Pursue an Army-approved academic major.
- Agree to accept a commission as either a Regular
Army, Army National Guard or US Army Reserve
officer. - Meet physical standards.

School National Scholarship between 1 MAR of HS
junior year and 1 DEC of HS senior year - Minimum 920 on SAT or 19 on ACT
- Apply for 2, 3, or 4-yr scholarship on campus
- Minimum 920 on SAT or 19 on ACT for 4-yr
scholarship - Minimum GPA of 2.5 for a 3 and 2-yr scholarship
- Awarded on merit, not financial need
- Competitive
- Full tuition fees, 900 for books and 3,000
3,500 (1st yr and sophomores) 4,500 (juniors)
and 5,000 (seniors) stipend for living expenses

Wright State University ARMY ROTC - 3 yr advanced designated (AD) Scholarship winner

Military Science - Room and Board Scholarships
- WSU offers new 4 Year Scholarship winner a room
and board scholarship that covers a portion of
University room and board - Must meet WSU admissions Academic Criteria for
the scholarship - PMS extends offer for room and board scholarship
at the time of the selection process - PMS and MS Instructors will extend RB
scholarship incentives to non-scholarship Cadets
based on merit leadership potential
21NG/RESERVE SCHOLARSHIPS
- National Guard and Reserve Forces Scholarships
- Guaranteed Reserve Forces Duty (GRFD)
- Same minimum requirements as on campus
scholarships - Need acceptance letter from a unit to drill as an
SMP cadet - Must have the concurrence of the State Adjutant
General (TAG) - Incurs a 8 year Active Guard or Reserve Duty
commitment - Dedicated National Guard Scholarship (DNGS)
- 4-yr DNGS has the same requirements as a 4-yr
Active Army scholarship - 2-yr DNGS has the same requirements as the GRFD
scholarship - Applicant must serve in the National Guard
- Incurs a 8 year Active National Guard commitment
22FINANCIAL ASST. for Simultaneous Membership
Program Cadets in ROTC
- Must complete Basic/AIT and join AROTC as a
contracted Cadet. - Sophomores w/ at least 45 credits can contract
as a SMP Cadet.
- OHANG scholarships 100 tuition assistance (TA)
for 12 quarters for full-time
students. - USAR soldiers 4,500/YR TA up to 12 academic
quarters for full-time students. - Federal Tuition Assistance 75 of tuition
costs, not to exceed the TA cap of 250.00 per
semester hour (166.67 per quarter hour).
23FINANCIAL ASST. for Non-Scholarship Cadets in ROTC
- Non-scholarship ROTC contracted cadets receive a
4,500 (junior year) and 5,000 (senior year)
stipend after entering the Army ROTC Advanced
Course. - Paid as a 450 (juniors) or 500 (seniors) direct
deposit to your checking account for 10 months of
a school year. - Amount last increased during School Year 04-05.
- The stipend is tax-free and up to ten months per
school year.
