• working on your own or in small groups
• independent research
• choosing topics for presentations
• making your own notes, in your own way, including
  vocabulary lists
• reading round the subject

• enthusiastic for the language and the countries
  in which it is spoken
• curious about these countries and the language
  itself
• open-minded - things are done differently
  elsewhere, it doesnt mean its better or worse,
  look into it and make up your mind
• bold - justify your opinions and share ideas with
  others
• independent and conscientious, working throughout
  the year not just before exams

What we offer at KES...

• 5 hours a week in whole class
• 2 teachers who share topics, giving you access to
  various teaching styles and language skills
  (knowledge of countries, accents)
• 30 minutes per week with the Assistant on your
  own or with a partner
• subscriptions to various magazines and websites
• trips to discover the country and practise your
  skills
