What is A S M C ? ASMC is a non-profit
organization for persons, military and civilian,
who are involved in the overall field of military
Comptrollership in the Department of Defense and
Coast Guard. The mission of the society is to
promote the education, training and professional
development of our members and support the
advancement of the profession. ASMC has chapters
world-wide with a total membership of 17,000
individuals. The National Guard (NG) Chapter is
a world-wide chapter. We have members throughout
50 states, Guam , Puerto Rico, the U. S. Virgin
Islands and the District of Columbia. Our annual
Professional Development Conference is made
available to both Army and Air National Guard
financial professionals, DFAS and other federal
agencies across the nation.
The Professional Development Institute Each
year, financial professionals gather at the
National Guard Professional Development Institute
NG-PDI. The PDI provides a forum facilitating
the individual development and technical
competencies of persons in basic and
complementary resource management disciplines.
The conference consists of a day of NG specific
sessions, a day of functional area specific
training, and two days of technical and general
interest workshops. The conference includes two
luncheon sessions and two evening networking
opportunities. Over 620 National Guard resource
managers attended NG-PDI 07. The Exhibit
Area NG-PDI 08 will be held at the Wyndham
Orlando Resort, 8001 International Drive,
Orlando, FL. The exhibit area is located in the
foyer between the conference rooms the attendees
will be utilizing for the general sessions and
workshops. This will provide attendees the
opportunity to network with firms and agencies
providing products and services to the National
Guard resource management field.
Partnership Opportunities Bring your company name
into the spotlight by sponsoring an event. Full
descriptions of the sponsorship opportunities are
provided on page 3 of this brochure. Sponsorship
opportunities will be awarded on a first come,
first serve basis, as determined by the NG
Chapter Executive Committee. Advertising The
NG-PDI Registration Packet provides an excellent
opportunity to market your products and services
to the PDI attendees. The packet contains all
the information necessary for an attendee to get
around at the conference. Additionally, the NG
Chapter Newsletter provides another opportunity
to profile your company to all chapter members
quarterly. Half or full-page advertising is
available within sponsorship levels. Specific
advertising information will be conveyed upon
receipt of your application. Year-Round
Opportunities In addition to the annual PDI, the
NG Chapter hosts events year-round at various NG
financial management training classes nation-wide.

into the spotlight as a NG ASMC Sponsor
National PDI Chapter Fair As the sponsor of the
NG Chapter booth during the National PDI Chapter
Fair, your company is exposed to over 3500
attendees from throughout the Department of
Defense. As our corporate sponsor, your sign
advertising will be prominently displayed in our
booth and your promotional material widely
distributed. Youll also be provided excellent
opportunities to talk informally with our
members. Cost of Platinum Sponsorship including
event 15,000 PDI Monte Carlo
Night Happy hour and a buffet dinner precede an
evening of fun and games on Tuesday night.
Attendees will play Blackjack and Wheel of
Fortune, show off their putting skills and take
their chances at our 50-50 Jackpot. At the end
of the evening they can spend their winnings on
our charity auction, the proceeds of which
support our scholarship program. As the
corporate sponsor, your banners or signs will be
prominently displayed throughout the ballroom and
you will be recognized frequently by our
auctioneer. Cost of Platinum Sponsorship including
event 15,000 PDI Continental
Breakfast Breaks Attendees are your guests for
during a continental breakfasts providing you
with an opportunity to display your banner or
sign advertising, and distribute promotional
material at the start of the business day. Then
mid-morning and mid-afternoon general session
breaks afford additional opportunity to get your
message out. Cost of Diamond Sponsorship including
full page ad 8,500 Sponsor Chapter
Scholarships The NG Chapter provides Scholarships
to dependents of chapter members. Sponsors are
recognized at the time scholarships are
awarded. Scholarship Sponsorship 2,500 Minimum
PDI Icebreaker Welcome attendees to the
Icebreaker on Monday evening as its corporate
sponsor. Light snacks will be available. As our
corporate sponsor, your banner will be featured
at the snack station and bar. Cost of Gold
Sponsorship including event
6,500 PDI Luncheon Session Attendees are your
guests for one or two luncheon sessions on Monday
or Tuesday. The luncheon sponsorship provides
you with an opportunity to display sign
advertising and distribute promotional material
at a seated meal function. Recognition will also
include a podium announcement of
sponsorship. Cost of Silver Sponsorship including
one luncheon 5,500 Various Chapter
Events The NG Chapter hosts socials, buffets and
auctions at various financial management training
events throughout the year. Sponsor one of these
events and your company signs and promotional
material will be distributed at the event.
Attendance at these events ranges from 25 to
125. Cost of Bronze Sponsorship including one
event 2,500 Newsletter/PDI
Registration Packet Stand out! As a NG Chapter
Sponsor, your ad will be included in our PDI
Registration Packet and our quarterly chapter
newsletter. Cost of Standard Sponsorship including
half-page ad 2,000 Donate to the
Soldier Relief Fund The NG Chapter provides
grants to ARNG Soldiers encountering financial
challenges. Your donation supports our efforts
to bring relief to those experiencing financial
difficulty.
