• Scaling to 10s or 100s of FPGAs in a single
  system through hardware infrastructure and system
  software APIs
• Partnerships with HLL tool vendors to leverage
  their expertise

• As a system vendor our goal is to field a truly
  unique valuable product in a market ready to
  embrace the new paradigm. As such, SGI is
  committed to the CHREC initiative for a number of
  reasons.
• Overall market acceptance depends on broad base
  of applied research that identifies applications
  that lend themselves to acceleration
• Cooperation with researchers and other vendors
  on best practices and eventual standards benefits
  all involved
