6TRAINING PROGRAMMES
- Training, being the core activity, receives
dedicated attention and over the last two decades
of its existence the Academy has trained over
50,000 participants through various programmes in
critical streams like Credit Management,
International Banking, Human Resource Management,
Management / Executive Development, Faculty
Development, Marketing, Role-specific programmes
etc. Apart from regular training, programmes,
numerous workshops and seminars have been
organised to address emerging needs and
contemporary corporate concerns. On-site training
interventions are frequently being made at
branches for addressing more effectively the
issues of improving group dynamics and work
culture through team building and focussing on
branch-specific needs in functional training as
well as attitudinal re-orientation

- As the think tank and internal consultant of
the bank, as well as for continuous renewal, the
Academy undertakes research projects in various
areas of contemporary and operational relevance
on an on-going basis. To build up the necessary
focus and impetus the Academy has established a
dedicated Research Development wing. Numerous
valuable projects works have already been done in
areas of critical importance related to banking
