    placement into advanced courses.

Why Pre-AP English?
  • Both courses are an advanced opportunity beyond

  • Both courses prepare students for future success
    in AP Language and Composition (11th) and AP
    Literature and Composition (12th).
  • While both are recommended courses, neither are
    pre-requisites for the AP English courses.

    understanding of the evolution of global
    processes and the interaction among human
    societies

  • Actively participate in class and complete all

  • Challenge yourself to work hard and maintain high
    standards
  • Prepare to take the A.P. test in May
