• It is a commonly held belief that fortune
  cookies are only superstition that the
  mass-produced messages hidden in each floury fold
  are as meaningful as they are nutritious. Perhaps
  this is true, but in even reading those laconic
  statements a fleeting hope appears that maybe
  this time supernatural forces will win over
  reason.
• These images are the suggestion that to believe
  in the fate behind the fortune can be more than
  just a fools act whether it be psychology or
  predestination, that which is in those fortune
  cookies are often easily found to be true.

Biography

• The one constant thing in my childhood was the
  sunlight. I was born in the sunshine state, moved
  the bright town of Sunnyvale, and finally found
  myself amidst the most enlightened and easygoing
  people I know. My life has thus been fueled by
  the light of our sun.
• I am an explorer. When I create my work I am
  not afraid of rolling around in the mud if that
  is what it takes to achieve the image I desire.
  One of my major inspirations is nature I find
  myself drifting toward trees and plants until I
  catch myself.
• I began to create art because it made me happy
  I continue because it makes a positive affect on
  viewers. I find the universal aspects of my work
  are color, solidity, and dominance these help me
  to express my self and make a bolder statement to
  both the viewer and myself. I like photography
  for its brutal honesty it shows how things
  really are. There is only a certain extent to
  which I can alter the image when and after I take
  it it is in essence the truth.
