of engine failure. No fatalities - 06 Nov 07 (2nd MAW/VMMT-204) MV-22B aircraft had
nacelle fire on short final landing. - 13 Feb 08 (HMM-365, 24th MEU) AV-8B was destroyed
as a result of an engine failure. No fatalities - USMC GROUND CLASS A
- 11 Jan 08 (I MARDIV/IMEF MCCES K9R) PFC died
during command sponsored PT. - 26 Oct 07 (2ndMLG/2nd MED BN) HM3 died while
participating in command sponsored physical

ejected from his vehicle during a single
automobile mishap. - 31 Jan 08 (SOIE/MCT) SGT lost his life in a
single motor vehicle accident. - 28 Jan 08 (SOIE/MCT) PVT was on leave when he
lost control of his vehicle, striking a tree.

QUANTICO in a single vehicle mishap. - 21 Oct 07 (MCAS/HMT-302) LCPL was speeding on his
motorcycle when he failed to make a turn and

vehicle was struck head on by a civilian drunk
driver. - 17 Oct 07 (IIIMEF/G-4) LCPL was speeding on his

into the back of an SUV and was ejected into the

motorcycle when he lost control hitting a
guardrail. - USMC OFF-DUTY/RECREATIONAL FATALITIES
- 20 Jan 08 (MCAGCC/3/7 KILO CO.) LCPL died as a
result of a gun shot wound. - 19 Jan 08 (1st MLG/CLB-13/CLR-17) CPL found
unconscious at friends house after a night of
drinking. - 20 Dec 07 (2nd MARDIV/2nd ASLT AMPHIB BN) CPL
died from asphyxiation. - 02 Nov 07 (HMX-1) SGT died in four-wheeler
