• The objective of this Project is to set-up
  Inter-City Bus Terminals in all major cities of
  the Country under a public-private arrangement.
  The City Government would provide land and the
  private sector will provide the balance
  investment to build and operate the Bus Terminal.

• The Project will have the following facilities
• Bays for the buses for embarkation and
  disembarkation of passengers, baggage, etc.
• Baggage handling.
• Terminal buildings to house offices and ticketing
  booths
• Public amenities for the passengers
• Shopping mall where kiosks may be set-up
• Passenger drop and pick-up area, alongwith
  parking area for cars, taxies, etc.
• Emergency repair shop, service station and fuel
  filling station for buses
• Self generation of power and waste water
  treatment plant
• Set-up on 10-15 acres of land (depending on
  availability) near the entry / exit point of the
  Inter-city highway

• Investment ranging from Rs. 300 million to Rs.
  400 million
• Returns on similar projects worldwide range from
  between 20 to 22 per annum
• Potential investment of Rs. 8 billion to Rs. 12
  billion
• Maybe setup in Karachi, Hyderabad, Multan,
  Lahore, Faisalabad, Gujranwala, Sialkot,
  Rawalpindi, Peshawar and Quetta
