What is a blog?

• A blog is like an online diary.
• You can update it as often as you like.
• It is hosted on a website for other people to
  read.
• You can add photos.
• It can be on any subject you choose, each time
  you write.

What is the Dreams Teams blog competition?

• An online competition run through the Dreams and
  Teams website.
• It will run from June to August.
• Each team (or individual) will have their own
  blog.
• There will be tasks to complete and rules for
  how often you have to update your blog.

What should I blog about?

• You can blog about anything in your life.
• Many of the most successful blogs are about
  peoples daily life, immediate surroundings,
  routines and culture.
• What may seem normal to you can be fascinating
  for readers around the world in the DT community.

How do I enter the competition?

• All the details will be explained on the Dreams
  Teams website http//dreamsandteams.org
• You need to sign-up as member of the website
  before you can have a blog. (Just click New
  Account Signup and follow the instructions).
• You will need to sign up for the competition on
  the site and agree to follow the rules.

How do I start a blog?

• First, sign in to the website.

• Then, click on Blogs

• Next, click on Create New Article.

• Now, enter the title of the blog, and a short
  introduction.

• If you scroll down the page, youll see the
  place to make the first page of your blog.

Hi everybody and thanks for reading my blog! Im
writing this from my house in Chile. Im the blog
competition co-ordinator and Ive been working
with Dreams and Teams for four years. Check back

• If you want to include a picture (recommended!),
  you need to make sure the picture is already
  downloaded onto your PC.

Then click here

• Browse to the picture in your PC.

Select it.
Then click Open

• The path to the picture will appear.

  the picture will be on the screen.

Click on the drop-down menu
and choose the template design.

• And if you click on Home

  homepage.

• If you want to change something, click on edit!

• When you want to add to your blog, just click on
  edit!

• Scroll down to below your existing articles

Select Start on new page?
And enter the next part of your blog.

What if something goes wrong?

• There will be a special discussion forum set up
  on the website to deal with any questions about
  blogging.
• The blogs will be monitored and we will be on
  hand to help in any way we can.

• Make sure youve signed up as a member on the
  Dreams Teams website http//dreamsandteams.org
  
• Keep watching the site for announcements about
  joining the competition.
• And whenever youre ready, get blogging!
