Mechanical Advantages
  • Separate tubesheets for high temperature
    differences, cycling, and thermal shock.
  • Moveable support brackets for shell expansion.
    Fixed supports also available.
  • Support brackets are slotted for versatility of
    installation.
  • All through bolting and no internal bolting.
  • Tubeside and shellside connections are on the
same end for ease of installation and piping.
  • Large radius u-bends for thermal expansion and
    ease of tubeside cleaning.
  • A variety of closure designs for high pressure
    services.

8
Unlike TEMA, nomenclature and model numbers for
hairpin heat exchangers are unique to each
manufacturer!

Through-Bolted Closures
Separated-Head Double-pipe
Separated-Head Low-Pressure Multitube
High-pressure Taper-Lok
Separate Sealed Lok-Flange
All these closures use our patented external
split-ring design!

Return End Bonnet Closure
  • Return End Bonnet Closure is a conservative
through-bolted design. When the bonnet is
removed, the u-bends of the tubes are completely
exposed to permit full field inspection. The
full floating u-tube bundle compensates for the
    differential shell-tube expansion.

12
Process Advantages
  • True counter-current flow to maximize temperature
    differences for thermal efficiency.
  • Heat transfer enhancement devices offer a variety
    of solutions.
  • Complete vaporization can be achieved.
  • Versatility of single section or multiple section
    configurations.
  • Double-pipes for slurries and high fouling
    services.
