Background and Theory

• TxDot uses a Pavement Evaluation System (PMIS) to
  determine if Texas roads need to be replaced.
• Factors Distress, Ride, Condition, Deflection,
  and Skid Resistance

• User input values for the different factors of
  PMIS measurements
• Output the lifespan of a section of roadway using
  the values.
