Project Aims

• Introduce a
• unified quality management system (QMS)
• as a prerequisite for
• providing the labor market with
• highly-qualified specialists
• in their respective areas of expertise, who
  would generate progress and, in accordance with
  their academic qualification, would be
  well-prepared for the challenges of the changing
  world

• Comparative analysis of the state of quality
  management systems in the partners network
• Workshop in Ni, publishing of CD and Web site
• Obtaining feedback regarding students
  realization on the labour market and the quality
  of the education product
• Surveys among university customers about the
  quality of training and processing of the results

• Defining the unified QMS

Project Content

• Examining the status and operation of QMS in
  project partner countries
• Assessing the cooperation and commitment of all
  partners in the process of realizing the
  educational product
• Adapting, exploiting, and disseminating
  scientific methods and research results between
  partners in the harmonization of education in
  united Europe and improving the efficiency of
  training and labour market
• Comparative studies and know-how exchange on
  European standards and practices in the
  efficiency of training and labour market
• Developing the structure of a QMS providing both
  the internal and external feedback for assessing
  the efficiency of training from the point of view
  of the labour market

Achieved Aims

• A unified model of a QMS by
• Comparison of the QMS at the partners
  Universities
• available beforehand
• Completion of the QMS systems in Bulgaria and
  Romania by mutual inputs and inputs from Austria.
• Use of international standard classification of
  education ISCED 97 and of requirements of the
  ISO 9001 standard
• Adoption of the unified system in Serbia and BiH

Communication Project Management

• Project management by the coordinator and the
  council of the contact persons of all partners
• Communication between partners by e-mails
• Very economical expenditure of the project budget
  in strict conformity with the clauses of the
  signed contract

Challenges

• Delay in the introduction of European standards
  in the higher education regulations in the SEE
  countries
• Functioning QMS are still scarce at the
  Universities of the SEE countries
• Entry visas required between the participants
  countries

• Enlargement of the established network
• Further dissemination of the project results
  achieved
• Co-operation in the proposed SEE-ERA-NET project
• Preparation of new project proposals not only in
  the field of QMS under the LLP and 7th framework
  programmes
