- Members using conformed software (i.e. the
software vendor has passed conformance testing
using that software) will be allowed to access
the CDS environment even though they themselves
have not undergone conformance testing But - Members using this software must undergo and pass
a TRT before accessing the CDS environment - Members using this software must undergo and pass
conformance testing with that software before
they are allowed to go-live with that software

that for conformance tests. The key difference is
that the Live environment is used, both at the
customer and the Exchange sites

27Time Saving
- Start of day downloads start at 05h00 UK time.
Subscribers should be listening prior to this
time so as not to miss anything. Please note
Although service is not available, you should be
ready and listening. - It must be noted that the data and/or idle poll
messages will only start broadcasting at 06h00
SAST during winter months and at 07h00 SAST
during summer months - It is therefore not necessarily a problem if
nothing is received from 06h00 06h59 during
summer months
28Closing Price Message
- The 5SK message will not contain the closing bid
price or the closing offer price - these will be
zero - A closing price message will be broadcast during
the day if the tradable instrument is suspended -
this price will be that of the last automatic
trade that took place on the system - If the instrument remains suspended for longer
than one day, no closing price is disseminated
for that instrument at the end of the day - Note that closing prices are broadcast on J21
(JSE Best Bid Ask Level 1) and NO2 (NSX Market
Data News SENS) BDGs and that the service
hours of these BDGs extend well beyond 17h08 SAST - Ensure that the system is available to receive
BDG messages for these extended hours
29Suspension of Share
When a share has a trading halt applied - -
trading halted on share - all orders on book
are retained - if trading halt on the stock
is restored intraday, we will go into 10
minute opening auction. When a share is
suspended - - trading is halted on share -
all orders on book deleted - if stock is
restored intraday, we will go into 25 minute
opening auction, where orders can be
re-entered (if required).
