2008. The incredibly successful phone is praised

of Mac OS X.

    good relationship and both have a great chance to
    create synergy that will generate more customers
    and excitement towards both companies.

  • Apple customers will get more variety in style
    and software like ImageZone, Quickplay, Touch
    capability on a desktop, and hardware advantages

The Bottom Line
  • Microsoft software is pricey, and the cost of
    anti-virus software is becoming a factor of a
    purchase on the sales floor. HP and Apple are
    both companies that believe in total solutions
    for their customers.
  • This joint venture between industry giants will
    fill a gap in the market which both companies
    will certainly profit from, and as always the
    consumer always wins.

    products they trust by name or experience. Those
    who normally would shy away from a Mac for fear

    seeing a name like HP attached, bringing some
    familiarity to a new experience.

  • Currently all HP computers are sold with a
    Microsoft OS. This is a good PC experience thats
    not only accessible but also very versatile.
    Unfortunately this versatility brings
    constraints. Unix code as present in Linux and
    Mac operating systems is extremely stable and
    secure in its design. The Mac OSX could easily be
    considered the most efficient and user friendly
    OS available to the consumer market. To most
    consumers a computer is only as reliable as the
    operating system that drives it. Consumers
    already know that HP provides quality hardware
    and software and Apple has a rock solid OS to
    compliment that.
