Rusumo Background

• 1 of Sisters Orphanages is in Rusumo, Rwanda
• Orphans from Rwandan Genocide
• Over 60 children
• Frequent droughts impact drinking water, bathing,
  livestock, and agricultural needs

• Clean water source was a trickle for the entire
  village
• Long Travel Distances to source ( 800 meters)?
• Each child made 4 trips a day to carry water
