The Three Rs

ReduceReducing means, that reducing the waist of
garbage in the environment is the best way to
help the environment.

• -         Instead of taking the car every time
  you have to go somewhere, take the bike, or walk.
  On that way you dont pollute and you get the
  exercise. Sometimes, when you know some of your
  friends or family is going to the same place as
  you, arrange a together driving order, it saves a
  lot. Use the busses, they drive all the time
  anyway!
• -         Paper use. Only print out want you
  need, and read the newspapers online on your
  computer.
• Lots of families get a lot of papers and
  advertising papers that they dont want and only
  throw out. Thats bad for the environment and if
  you want that to stop you can here in Denmark go
  to mail office, and get a sticker that says you
  dont hat all the junk.
• -         buy products with a little amount of
  packaging, or products wrapped in a material,
  that doesnt take lots of energy to produce. Many
  products have it written on the labels.
• -         Make compost bin in the yard. You can
  leave all your natural things here, things like
  old apples, fruit vegetables and so. It decompose
  , on that way it is good for your ground and
  garden, and less will find the way to the
  combustion, and the state dont have to use lots
  of money to get rid of the garbage.

ReuseInstead of throwing the things out we dont
want anymore, we can reuse them.

• -         instead of buying new bags for food and
  clothes, you can bring your own.
• -         Shoe boxes, cans and other things can
  be fun to use in art lessons or use as storage.
• -         Dont throw out stuff that still works,
  but you dont want anymore. Give it away as a
  donation or have a yard sale.
• -         Use newspapers as book paper.
• Use normally silverware and dishes instead of
  plastic.

Recycling

• Many of the things we use every day, like paper
  bags, soda cans, and milk cartons, are made out
  of materials that can be recycled. Recycled items
  are put through a process that makes it possible
  to create new products out of the materials from
  the old ones.
• Remember to use cans and boxes again, or throw it
  in a only paper container.
• Iron leftovers and other building materials can
  also be recycled.
